this book is sort of a cop out. There arent 500 different cupcake recipes. theres more like maybe, 100, with variations on each of the 100 cupcakes. its kinda false advertisement if ya ask me. it should be called "100 cupcake recipes with a bunch of variations. most of which, are pretty lame and you will probably never try." thats much better.

my hair drives me insane!!! its like, it does the exact opposite of what i want it to do. hmm....i feel like ive heard some friends complain about their partners with this same gripe. makes sense, my hair was probably the closest thing to a relationship i had for a long time. god, im depressing.

new year, new me, no, really!!

Happy 2008!! Well, I've decided to recommit to the pic a day thing. I know, i know. I didnt last long the last go around. This time I'm really dedicated to it!! This holiday season brought lots of exciting times... I GOT ENGAGED!! Oh my god, im still not quite over the shock of that statement. I can honestly say that before Jake and i started dating i never really thought id see myself typing that. Im getting married!! its just crazy!! crazily awesome!! Jake proposed on Christmas Eve. It was just so surprisingly wonderful!!! We had a wonderful christmas. and a couple days later i turned 29. This is my last year of the 20s. The 20s were quite the PAH-TAY!! But, i really think im ready to suck it up and resolve to the fact that im not a kid anymore.It's time to get serious(WHAT?!? WHo am i????)and so, i realize i want/need to get back to school. I started an online english literature class today. I'm really excited to give my brain some badly needed stimulation!!! This year promises to be unlike any of the past. I cant wait to share all the ups and downs(hopefully not too many of the latter)with this blog. Oh, and ive decided to catalog all the movies seen and books read this year. This way i have proof of my productivity with my free time!!!
