This was seriously the longest week ever!! It started last tuesday when i picked up my mom and aunt from the airport. We headed home to take a rest before venturing out to our first meal of the week...copeland's. Their spinach/artichoke dip with deep fried bowtie pasta is the freakin greatest. guess i'll just sum up the highlights of the past week:
Wednesday-Walked around the quarter, listened to some sweet live local music at the lousiana music factory(they also had $1 abita drafts, it was heaven)did the whole tourist thing, went to dinner at dante's kitchen...my new fave restaurant, its even better than jacqueismos, sooooo good!!
Thursday-went shopping at target(the two story one!!)had to work the night shift at the g. clove
Friday-worked my TRIPLE SHIFT-22 hours, it was unfreakinbelievable, i worked the graveyard shift from 1am-9am. It was nuts, people were hanging out at the patio tables at 730 in the morning like it was the middle of the afternoon!! I met some really cool people from all over, and made alot of money, but more than anything i just wanted to go to sleep.
Saturday-After getting a whole 3 hours of sleep, i continued with my tour guide duties,....made dinner for the fam(it was actually really good!!)then slept for awhile before heading back to work at 1am on sunday.
Sunday-The second grave shift was a little easier than the first, and a whole lot busier...i made sooooo much cash, i couldnt believe it!! As soon as i got off work, i went straight home, picked up the ladies and we headed out to jazzfest.We hung out all day long, drinkin beer and listenin to sweet music! I got super sunburnt and drunk, we came home, had yo mama's burgers, then i passed out til early afternoon monday
Monday-finished up my tour duties, ate dinner at the g.clove, took a ghost tour given by my boss from the g.clove.....drank a few dranks on bourbon
Today, saw my aunt off, and mom and i have pretty much been veggin all day. Havin a little fiesta on cinco de mayo, should be cool!!! Check out the pics!!!
